새해가 되자마자 음악계에서도 아주 반가운 소식들이 들리기 시작했습니다. 바로 R.A.T.M과 사운드가든(Soundgarden)의 재결합 소식입니다. (오아시스도 올해안에 그냥 빨리 재결합 했으면 좋겠네요)

NME에서는 R.A.T.M의 싱글 발매가 무섭게 바로 이들의 싱글 "Killing In The Name"을 1위로 꼽았습니다. 그 밖에도 2009년에 신보들을 발매한 팀들의 싱글은 물론 재발매를 한 싱글곡 등이 순위권에 올라와 있습니다.

Rage Against The Machine (R.A.T.M) continue their reign at the top of the NME Chart this week, but they're facing stiff competition from Mumford And Sons, who have leapt three spots from #5 to #2 and look set to knock them from their perch. Elsewhere and Julian Casablancas' Chrimbo effort makes an appearance, while Ellie Goulding climbs back up the top ten. It's not such a good week for oddball experimentalists Late of The Pier though, who drop 21 places from #14 to #35.
